The Martinez Lab was founded on May 1, 2023. We are a diverse, inclusive, and innovative group of researchers dedicated to making a difference in the world.

Our research interests lie at the intersection of basic and translational immunology, virology, and vaccinology. We seek to both gain novel insight into emerging pathogens of global importance and to generate understanding that can be applied to other pathogens and diseases.
